Authors who self-publish might be interested in free online conferences occuring during, after, or in association with major book conferences spoken about earlier: the London Book Fair (Event: Friday April 15th, 2016), Book Expo America (Event: Saturday May 14th, 2016), and the Frankfurt Book Fair (Event: Saturday October 22nd, 2016). Why not take advantage of this valuable how-to information?

The Indie Author Fringe has been offered by the author-run Alliance of Independent Authors since 2013.

ALLi is a nonprofit organization, bringing together the world’s best indie authors, advisors and services, offering contacts and campaigns, education and collaboration — together with trusted guidance on how to self-publish well.

Events will be both streamed and archived. Check out the catagories toward the bottom of this ALLi web page for  more information and other archived topics (advice, how-to’s, opinions, news, interviews, etc.) on self-publishing. This year the events for the “Going Global” theme focus on:
1. London– Writing, Editorial, Design and Formatting
Production and Distribution
2. BEA– reaching readers
Book promotion and marketing
3. Frankfurt-Book Rights and Contract Advice
Managing Time and Money

Anyone interested in self-publishing? Visit the ALLi website for resources and information on different facets of Independent Publishing; a how-to for authors.
