Creatures of the night are, on the whole, solitary. Yet I read two series in which brotherhood unites. J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood and Jacqueline Frank’s Nightwalkers feature vampire warriors and demons, respectively, bonded in defending or warring against their human enemies: slayers and necromancers.

These paranormal romances are on the steamy side, and each series handles the romance differently. Nightwalker law prohibits love between vampires and humans, whereas Ward’s alternate universe encourages the emotion.

Hot heroes, strong heroines, vampires, demons, and weres abound. If you have, or will read these series’, let me know which you like best by sending me a comment. Just click “Leave a Comment” to this post.

Happy reading!
